Very good work. They brought my old floors back to life after another company wanted to rip them out and replace them. This was done for a fraction of the price quoted for a new floor by the other guys. They rerouted my Greek Key border where I had removed a closet and you would think it was there from day one. I chose the high gloss finish and it looks great.

Lou Buono Jr provided a quote the next day (3 quotes actually, breaking it down exactly how we asked). Scheduling was fast and the team he sent out were both professional and friendly.
The project was completed by ONiell (not sure about spelling) and John, who were on time, friendly and even went above and beyond their job to fix a gap left by our previous contractor (between floor trim and heater).
Looking forward to bringing their team in again for future work!

Oneal and his crew did a beautiful job refinishing the floors in my rental apartment that badly needed the work.. I was able to trust them while I was away and came home to gorgeous oak floors. The crew and their boss Lou are sweethearts. This was a birthday present to myself so I appreciate the fair price. They moved my furniture back and forth and even put felt pads under each furniture leg that I had left with them. I had interviewed several companies and chose Buono because they were so polite and no pressure. I highly recommend them! I can't wait to show off my floors during the holidays.

I am writing to recommend Buono Flooring who recently re-did the hallways in our new apartment. They were very easy to work with, reliable and professional. Their price was highly competitive (less than 1/2 what another floor company quoted us!). They did a beautiful job and even came back out very quickly when I realized that I hadn't asked for a quote on a certain aspect of the job. Both the people in the office and the people who came to do the job were courteous, professional and reliable.

I am the Board President of my Condominium and we hired Buono's Flooring to make repairs to flooring in certain apartments in our building that had been damaged from leaks. We had to have mold abatement performed and then Buono's Flooring handled all of the flooring replacement.
We had other companies look at the job who were not responsive and lacked follow through. Since we were doing repairs to existing bamboo flooring in apartments and the flooring that is installed in the units was no longer available, it was not an easy process. Lou Buono, Jr. (the President) followed through, came to look at the work needed several times and contacted the manufacturer to inquire about custom ordering the flooring for us. Getting the manufacturer to place the order was not an easy process but Lou followed through until we were able to place the order.
Lou turned over all of the required paperwork and Insurance certificates the same day it was requested. His workers came on time and did a great job.
I also recommended them to another unit owner whose floors needed to be sanded and finished as they were in poor condition and Buono's Flooring did a beautiful job..
Dealing with contractors is not easy. Many do not get back to you or don't show up but my experience in dealing with Lou Buono was beyond excellent. He is professional and responsive and honest. I would highly recommend them!

Found Lou Jr and Buonos Flooring through Yelp. Based on my requirements and approximate sq footage, i got a prompt and clear estimate which was fair. Lou then came out to our co-op apartment, took measurements and helped us select a stain (sanding and refinishing). He worked within our timelines, took care of all paperwork etc with the co-op, and even moved dates to accommodate some scheduling challenges. I wasnt in town when the work was done so was a bit nervous of the result, but the final product blew us away. Not only did the floors look fantastic, but the work was done professionally and cleanly. No mess left behind, no paint on walls etc. What a fantastic job. I would highly recommend Lou and his team. Hands on, honest, professional and more than anything, they know what they're doing. Cant emphasize the fact that Lou was very very responsive (yelp and text)!

I recently ripped up wall to wall carpeting in the living room of my rental apartment to discover beautiful parquet flooring, however it was filthy, covered in paint splotches, and the fancy border was pretty damaged in one area.
After receiving estimates from three companies, I went with Buono. Their quote was reasonable, and they gave me confidence that they could do the job, particularly the repair of the fancy border.

Great company! I used Buono's Flooring to refinish two staircases. One was a regular staircase and one was open stairs. Lou came out and looked the job over. The next day I had a written estimate. The open stairs were a real pain and the work took a little longer then expected, but Lou was ok with the extra labor. His guys mixed the stain to match my existing flooring. It is perfect!! Really a top notch operation and a truly nice guy. You won't be sorry dealing with Buono's. Thanks Lou!

I recently moved and hired Buono Flooring to sand the floors in my entire house (basement, 1st, & 2nd floor). I had them stain them a darker color and apply a satin polyeurathane. They completed the job in a couple of days as promised. John, the gentleman who came and gave me the estimate was extremely knowledgable, honest, and professional. He maintained continuous contact with me throughout the process and quoted me a great price. Prompt and quality service is his motto and I can say he has lived up to his promise.
